The early 512 TRs didn't have ABS, but it was introduced in October 1993 (near s/n 96400). This also resulted in a ABS button at the left side of the steering wheel and a ABS light on the dashboard.
"testarossa" logo on the engine lid
Early versions have the logo "testarossa" on the engine lid, but on later versions this logo didn't appear. The change was done between s/n 94500 and 95000.
Special 3-piece wheels could be choosen as an option.
Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)

On 512 TRs, the VIN can be found on a small plate on the steering column and at the chassis in the engine room. On US versions, the VIN can also be found on a plate on the door.
