The last flat 12

In October 1994, Ferrari presented the final version of the Testarossa, which was called the F512 M (Modificato). A modified design, a modifed engine (F113G040) and some other small modifications resulted in the 'beast' of the Testarossa series.

The F512 M was Ferrari's last flat-12, which was succeeded in the summer of 1996 by the front engined 550 Maranello.

Presentation

The F512 M was introduced at the Paris Salon between October 6th and 16th 1994. There was a red car (s/n 99818) on the Pozzi stand and a yellow one (s/n 99854) on the Pininfarina stand. Introductions for other markets were:
